1427・OneNote2013 無償版の機能制限を撤廃（Microsoft）

マイクロソフトは、Windowsデスクトップ向け(Windows7/8/8.1対応)に提供している無償版「OneNote 2013」の機能制限を、ほぼ撤廃したことを発表しました。

OneNoteとは、マイクロソフトが提供するデジタルノートアプリのことで、オンラインストレージサービス「OneDrive」を介して、複数の環境でデータを同期することができます。

いずれも無償で利用できます。

利用できるようになったプレミアム機能
新たに利用できるようになったOneNote2013 無償版のプレミアム機能は下記の4つの機能です。

4. ノートブックへのファイルの埋め込み

無償版を利用するには、Microsoftアカウントが必須です。
また、ノートブックをローカルへ新規作成することはできず、「OneDrive」の利用が前提です。

「緊急」に指定されているのは、IEのセキュリティ更新プログラムと、Windowsカーネルモードドライバのリモートコード実行の脆弱性、グループポリシーのリモートコード実行の脆弱性に対処する更新プログラムの3件です。

IEの更新プログラムは計41件の脆弱性が修正されています。脆弱性は、IE11までの全バージョンに存在し、特にクライアント版は深刻な影響を受けます。

またカーネルモードドライバの脆弱性は6件が修正されています。特にWindows 7～WindowsRT8.1までのWindowsと、Windows Server 2008 R2～Windows Server 2012 R2までのWindows Serverが深刻な影響を受けます。

グループポリシーの脆弱性は、攻撃者がユーザーをだまして不正なネットワークに接続させる手口を通じ、リモートで任意のコードを実行される恐れがあります。

この問題は、サポート対象の全WindowsおよびWindows Serverが深刻な影響を受けます。

1425・Windows10のアップグレード（Microsoft）

マイクロソフト社は、2015年下半期に公開予定の次期OS Windows10を、発売日から1年間に限り、無料でアップグレードできる事を発表しました。

これからのWindows OSは、次期メジャーバージョンのリリースを待つことなく、次々と新機能が追加され、アップデートされるようになります。

Windows10とは

• Windows10は、スマホやタブレット、パソコンなどすべてのデバイス間で動作し、自動的に同期されるOSに生まれ変ります。
• スタートメニューは、Windows7のようなデザインから、フルスクリーンまで拡大できます。
• アクションセンターは、スマホの通知センターのように見やすくなり、WiFiやVPNの切り替えもボタン表示で確認できます。
• キーボードやマウスを取り外すと、自動的にタブレットモードになり、キーボードをドッキングすると、見慣れたパソコン画面として動作します。

新機能「コルタナ」

• Windows10には、音声認識システム「Cortana(コルタナ)」が搭載されます。
• Cortanaは、ユーザーの操作を学習し、それに応じた情報提供やリマインダー通知などを行うパーソナルアシスタントです。音声認識だけでなく、キーボード入力にも対応します。
• Cortanaは、パソコンのスタートメニューに常駐し、アプリの検索や起動ができます。「音楽をかけて」と言えば音楽を再生し、「静かにして」と言えば一時停止し、音声のみでメールを送ることもできます。

新ブラウザー「スパルタン」

• IEは、スパルタン(コードネーム)と呼ばれる新しいブラウザーに進化します。
• 閲覧中のWebページに対し、キーボードやペンによる手書き入力で注釈を書き込み、共有できます。
• また画面で文章を読みやすくするリーディングモード機能や、後で読むために保存しておくリーディングリスト機能も提供され、パーソナルアシスタントのCortanaとも連動します。

マイクロソフトは12月2日(日本時間）、Office.comで提供していたクリップアートの終了を発表しました。

今後は、製品内での検索サービスのみとなります。

1291・Windows 7 メインストリームサポート（Microsoft）

Windows 7のメインストリームサポートは、2015年1月14日(日本時間)に終了します。

終了後は、無償サポート、仕様変更、新機能のリクエスト受け入れが終了し、この日以降は延長サポート期間に入ります。

メインストリームサポートとは

メイン ストリーム サポートとは、マイクロソフトの製品発売後、最低 5 年間提供されるサポートのことです。

メイン ストリーム サポート終了後、最低 5 年間は「延長サポート」が続き、合計 10 年間サポートが提供されます。

メイン ストリーム サポートでは、「セキュリティ更新プログラムのサポート」や「仕様変更、新機能のリクエスト」など、すべてサポートが提供されます。

メイン ストリーム サポートが終了すると、仕様変更や新機能のリクエストが終了し、無償のサポートも受けられなくなります。

1288・OneDriveへの保存が無制限(Microsoft)

マイクロソフトは、Office365のユーザーに提供しているOneDriveのストレージを、1TB→無制限にすることを発表しました。

また日本市場だけに提供している「Office Premium」や「Office365 Solo」のユーザーのOneDriveのストレージも、保存領域が無制限になります。

この施策は今後数か月以内に順次変更されます。

「Office Premium」は、Microsoft Officeが利用するパソコンに予めプリインストールされているタイプです。

Microsoft Officeのライセンスは、プリインストールされたパソコンで使用する場合に限り、永続的に利用できます。

「Office Premium」には、1年間のOffice365サービスが付属されています。

「Office 365 Solo」は、2台までのパソコンで常に最新版のMicrosoft Officeが利用できるパッケージ版です。

Microsoft Officeのライセンスは、1年ごとに更新する必要があります。「Office 365 Solo」には、1年間のOffice365サービスが付属されています。

マイクロソフトは、2014年10月17日より、マイクロソフト 365のサービス」と、パッケージ販売向けの「Office 365のソロ」を発売します。

プリインストール版は「オフィスのプレミアムプラスのOffice 365のサービス」
大手メーカー製パソコンには、Microsoft Officeののを付属して販売しているタイプが多いです。

この付属される中身が、10月17日以降は「オフィスプレミアムプラスのOffice 365のサービス」または「Office ProfessionalののプレミアムプラスのOffice 365のサービス」になります。

※すべてが切り替わるわけではありません。
従来版のプリインストール版のオフィスも残ります。
そのため、新規にパソコンを購入する際は、どちらのタイプにするか十分検討する必要があります。

大きな変更点
今までと大きく変わるは点、バージョンアップが無料になる点です。
従来のプリインストール版Officeの場合、バージョンアップするためには新製品を再び購入する必要がありましたが、10月17日以降に提供される「OfficeプレミアムプラスOffice 365のサービス」の場合、常に最新版に無料でバージョンアップできます。

サブスクリプション形式とは
その理由は、サブスクリプション形式(ソフトの利用期間に応じて料金を支払う方式)に変わるからです。
但しこれまで通り、Officeのライセンスは購入者ではなく、購入したパソコンに紐づけられています。
そのため、無料でバージョンアップし続けられるのは、あくまでもそのパソコンを使っている間に限られます。
パソコンが壊れて使えなくなったり、パソコンを手放した場合は利用できなくなるので注意が必要です。

Office 365ののサービスとは？
オフィス365のサービスは、マイクロソフトアカウントに紐づけられたライセンスです。

利用期間は「オフィスプレミアムプラスオフィス365のサービス」をセットアップ（インストール作業）した時から1年間です。

利用期間が切れた場合は、1年間有効な「Office 365ののサービス価格5,800円）を購入すれば、継続して利用できます。


パッケージ販売向けの「Office 365のソロ」
従来のパッケージ版に、「Office 365のソロ」が追加されます。
「オフィス 365のサービスを1年間利用できます。

「Office 365ののソロ」に含まれるオフィスソフトは、ウィンドウズ用なら「オフィスProfessionalの2013」と同内容で、Word、Excel、Outlook、PowerPoint、OneNote、Publisher、Accessが含まれます。

またはマックの場合は「Macのホーム·ビジネス2011」と同内容になります。

1277・IE8 2016年1月12日にサポート終了（Microsoft）

マイクロソフトがWindows7に標準搭載するWeブラウザー「Internet Explorer8(IE8)」は、2016年1月12日にサポートが終了します。

現在最も普及しているIEのバージョンはIE8。その次に普及しているのはIE 11です。

Net MarketShareが2014年7月に発表したリポートによると、デスクトップPCのブラウザー市場では、IE8(21.6％)、IE11(16.8％)、IE9(9％)、IE10(6.3％)、Google Chrome35/36(14.8％)、Firefox(9.3％)のシェア率です。

1. IEを起動します
2. ALTキーをポンと1回押す
3. メニューバーが出ます（通常は表示されません）

テキストや画像、動画、音声を記録し、MicrosoftアカウントでログインしたクラウドストレージOneDrive（旧SkyDrive）を介し、他のユーザーやデバイスと共有することができます。

OneNoteの関連サービス
OneNote Clipperを利用すると、ブラウザーで開いているコンテンツをOneNote Onelineへ取り込むことができます。

OneNote ClipperはEvernoteのClipperとほぼ同じ機能で、閲覧したWebページをOneNoteにクリップして保存することができます。
※現時点でInternet Explorer、Firefox、Chrome、Safariに対応しています。

また、自分の対応するメールアドレス「me@onenote.com」へノートを送信することでOneNoteに保存できる機能も提供されました。撮影した面の歪みは自動補正され、文字もOCRにより自動認識できます。
